I met Neil Gaiman last night!!!!
Sep. 26th, 2006 01:00 pmAnd just so you all know, the noise I made when he arrived was not a fanboy squee, but a *very* manly cheer for one of my favourite authors.
He read from his new book of short stories called "Fragile Things", go buy it as soon as you finish reading, and hopefully, replying to this entry.
He then did a question and answer session mainly about movies he's working with, or ones based on his works. His sometime collaborator Dave McKean was brought up, and trusted the 700 people in attendance with a secret about a new collaboration which I will not be reavealing.
I was there 'till gone 11pm because of the large haul I brought to be signed, but my favourites were the signings of my two copies of Good Omens, both of which Terry Pratchett signed, and one which is nearly read to death, thus needing to buy a new copy.
P.S. I got two tickets to Pratchett's event this Thursday absolutely free, being nearly last was worth it.
