I've been watching the events going on in Egypt via the BBC and Al Jazeera English websites, both of which have been very interesting.
It seems to me at least that President Mubarek is done for, the police are no where to be seen and the army has made no moves against the protestors despite several senior military leaders being brought into the government. One of the interesting things I've noticed is that neither the UK nor the US governments want to come out and say that that he should step down and allow democratic elections to happen and for the Egyptian people to choose their own leaders because he's been their close ally in the region, so things are very much in flux at the moment.
