Much Happiness

Lots of good things have happened lately, I finished watching Shawshank Redemption earlier, forgot how terrific that movie is. Yesterd... On Friday night I watched 2 movies at the cinema, The Good German and 300. They were a good postwar noir-ish film and the most macho movie I have ever seen respectively. I'm not sure how Zack Snyder is going to handle Watchmen, but he is definately a great action movie director.

"We shall fight them in leather underwear, yes it chafes, but we are Spartans!"

Also, in RL, my sister known as The Brat on this LJ got a conditional acceptance to Uni. I am very proud, as is our whole family. Of course, that means she'll have to cut back on her teenage social life and boy drama.

All she's ever done with boys is cuddle and hold hands and I'll murderize anyone who says different, OK?
