Real Life Drama
Apr. 18th, 2007 03:39 pmHi guys and gals, I'm updating my LJ from home today because my Dad is having a nervous breakdown, well, nearly.
He's doing course to learn how to teach English and is having trouble with his computer and MSWord so he called me and asked if I could take the afternoon off (this after making me late this morning doing the same thing), my manager said yes and I leave work.
After I get home and transfer his work from one laptop to another, I try and help him with his work and this inevitably leads to him shouting at me and sending his bloodpressure through the roof. Before I tried to help he apologised for any bad behaviour he might show, and again afterwards as well. For a man with 2 laptops he is an *extraordinary* luddite.
Amusing news from the Brat, she has a 'friend' who I shall call 'C'. C broke up a 6 months ago from his 2yr girlfriend, Brat and C have been spending time together for the last 3 months almost non-stop, C regularly stays here and Brat stays at C's house practically every weekend. They are not, however, going out, C is free to go out with other people and so is Brat, neither want to, after I pointed out that most people, including all their friends would consider this going out, she seemed confused as to why.
My sister, ladies and gentlemen, odd girl.
P.S. Thanks to
nemo_gravis for completing my story. Well, mine-ish. Check out Safe and Sound now, highly recommended.
