Hello, hello, hello. Today I celebrate being halfway along to 50 years old. Quite a few people on my flist and friendsfriends lists have talked about and recommended The Dresden files about the Chicago-based Wizard for hire, so I got the Brat to buy me a copy for my present.

I'll recieve my one from Dad over dinner and my colleagues from work, charming people that they are, got me a £20 Marks & Spencers vouchers and a mug bearing the legend "World's Best Farter." The reason behind this vile and rediculous slander was that I recently had for lunch a baked potato with baked beans and the inevitable happened... all day long.

Hence, my reputation has been ruined forever.

Happy birthday :D :D I've been twenty-five for all of eight days now and am happy to report that I've yet to experience the more severe symptoms of age related decline that my RL friends insisted I would.

and a mug bearing the legend "World's Best Farter." The reason behind this vile and rediculous slander was that I recently had for lunch a baked potato with baked beans and the inevitable happened... all day long.

Oh dear, work mates do love to continually remind you of these things, don't they. Though on the brightside, you'll probably get fewer of them trying to nick said mug at brew times than would be the case if it had, say, a cartoon cat on the front.

Keep meaning to check out the Dresden Files myself, but amazon.co.uk seems overly keen on recommending them too me.

Me neither. Funnily enough, no one actually thought I was turning 25, they either thought I was younger or older. Still I will make them deathly jealous by waving my new ipod nano that my marvelous and very generous father got for me. *is happy*

Hi, I'm having a busy time, but I wanted to stop by and wish you a happy birthday. I'm aware I'm too late in your time zone, but accept my sincere but belated wishes.

*snickers at the mug*

Thanks. I had a good with cake and presents, and my friends had a good time laughing at my mug and I so everyone was happy.

Sorry I missed the actual birthday - I didn't read my birthday advices page properly and only saw the first of the day's two birthdays on my F-list.

Happy birthday for yesterday dear brother!
As today is MY day, I feel a little odd sending you birthday wishes over LJ, specially as I saw you yesterday and today, when you wished me a happy birthday, but I saw this post and had to attempt some sort of formal birthday greeting.
