Memage and stuff
Dec. 21st, 2007 09:32 pmHappy. and... slightly geeky as well. As well as slightly inebriated, but that goes without saying for a friday evening post.
I've done my xmas shopping! Yay! CD's for Dad, stepmum, stepsis, and ****** for the Brat as she has odd tastes, and yes, I know you read this LJ regularly, so *raspberry* to you.
I love Foyles bookshop for they have ordered, especially for me Jane Espenson's Firefly essay books. Both of them, I collected them yesterday and am already on the last essay of the first book, 'Finding Serenity.' I also got S1 of Futurama for £10 thanks to my Secret Santa from work which was HMV vouchers, a tie with a flashing reindeer LED nose and a farting key chain which has absolutely no relation to any gastro-instestinal upsets that may or may not have happened in the last month. At all.
What else? Oh yes, happy birthday
sbisson, and thanks to
bastardsnow for posting this meme:
I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your journals, or we have something else in common, and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me, and I thank you for your interest in my words.
But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...they enjoy the savory aroma of monkey brains a la mode."
I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal and see what gems of knowledge appear.

Date: 2007-12-22 03:48 am (UTC)IRL, just as I do on-line, I say odd/crazy/demented things at random times in hope of making someone smile (or to help me one day should I need to use insanity as a defense).
I am honestly a little surprised, at times, that others don't find things I say/do as funny as I do.
Despite constant threats and allusions to the contrary, I am not naked at my computer, have not been so in many, many years and have absolutely no inclination or desire to be so.
