Interesting new meme from my flist that goes like so:

1. leave me a comment saying, 'interview me'.
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. update your LJ with the answers to the questions. (You must do this, even if it's filtered for my eyes only!)
4. include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. when others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

1. What is your favorite Eddie Izzard skit other than the one in your icon?
covered in bees, Cake or Death, or Deathstar cantina

2. Who do you think has played the best Alfred?
I liked Caine's performance in TDK, but me Michael Gough will always be Alfred Pennyworth. We are talking about Bruce Wayne's butler here, yes?

3. If you could travel back in time (and assume you could know the language) where and when would you go?

I could do a Patton Oswalt and say George Lucas before the prequels to kick him in the crotch to retroactively punish him for Jarjar Binks, but I'd probably want to go back and watch either Bill Hicks or The Beatles live. Honestly, those two were the first things that came to mind, I'm embarresed for myself.

4. What is your favorite book ever (a list is fine if you can't choose 1)?

Currently, it's still Good Omens. But the I enjoyed the most reading was Bows against the Barons, partly because my Dad would read it with me as when I was much younger and even though it's been over fifteen years since I've read it, I can still remember key scenes from the book.

5. What fandom have you found yourself most invested in and why?

I first self identified as a trek fan, but that was more a personal thing, but online even though I'm very much a reader rather than a writer in fandom, I guess it would have to be Buffy. I just began to have access to the internet when Buffy first came out and I had my first exposure to fanfic. It used to be X-Files and Buffy, but the wide range and quality of the fanfic made Buffy take up so much more of my time.

4. Hmm... wow. In the middle of a concert (in which I was performing) in Indianapolis, there was a part of the concert where we switched chairs (for various reason we don't need to go into). I stood up... and stepped right on a plastic cup. In dead silence. The entire audience of a few thousand people could hear it. That was pretty embarrassing.
