I know everybody and their dog are posting about the BSG finale, and while I did like it, I felt there were quite a few cop outs and handwaves. I, on the other am here to talk about something completely different.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Best show on TV. Both shows are about humans and robots and whether robots can be more 'human'(self determination, overcoming programming, etc.)

TSCC can do things that BSG can't though, recently anyway, and that's subtlety and slow character development. Also, quiet menace without capslock DOOOOOOOM!

That's all for now, I'll post more if anything else comes to mind.

Byeeeeeeeee.

TSCC is amazing. I still consider BSG my "favorite" show, but objectively I think TSCC is far more subtle and it blows me away. It's more depressing, too. I haven't caught up with the most recent episode yet, but I've been following the rest of the season on Hulu. Just - wow.

I wouldn't say depressing, although Riley's story is very much an "ET ouch."

Yes! I'm behind on BSG by about ten episodes so I can't really say anything to that, but TSCC owns my soul right now.

John really is stepping up his game. Have you the most recent ep?

Yes! Oh John. The scene where he shows up at Jesse's stepping into the shoes he'll someday wear and the last scene were both so heartbreaking.
