I've noticed something over the last couple of weeks. I've recently bought a couple of books, fiction and non, but I haven't had a chance to read them other than at lunch time and the trip to and from work. The internet is too full of interesting things. I've managed to cut back on fanfic, slimmed my tv shows down to a minimum, but there's still the biggest problem of all. Blogs.

They generally fall into a couple of general catagories. Science, scepticism, scifi/tv/film, politics, authors I like, plus random links I'm sent and of course, you guys. Whenever I say to myself, "okay 10 more minutes, then go and read a book." It never happens.

Yes I know I'm spoilt for choice, that's the point!

Why must the day have only 24 hours and why must I need to sleep for at least 7 or 8 of them>

Word!

I have a rule for myself: I have to do something other than internet when I get home from work, i.e. read for an hour.

I break this rule at least twice a week.

I may need to do that, my mistake so far has been going on the first and then telling myself that I'll read later. Definitely need to start switching things around.
